Job summary

Structure Tone Southwest is seeking a Project Engineer to assist Project Managers in ensuring installations meet plan and specification requirements. You will review shop drawings, submittals, and schedules while supporting value analysis and coordination with architects.

The role requires reading blueprints, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced construction environment. Safety compliance and cost-conscious problem solving are essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; clear, precise documentation.
• Proficient with Word and Excel; able to prepare reports and schedules.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Willing to learn OSHA and project safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for compliance and constructability.
• Support cost-saving methods and value analysis activities.
• Attend project meetings and distribute minutes and action items.
• Prepare weekly progress reports and update project schedules.
