Job summary

W.E. O’Neil Construction is seeking a Project Engineer in Austin, TX. The role supports the project team in administration, scheduling, documentation, and coordination across CMiC, PlanGrid, and BIM workflows.

The successful candidate will manage submittals, RFIs, and closeout documentation, while supporting field teams and safety initiatives. A four-year degree and OSHA 30 are preferred, with strong written and verbal communication essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Understanding of scheduling and CMiC.
• OSHA 30-Hour Safety Certification.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job office setup and CMiC Submittal Logs.
• Prepare and maintain Submittal Logs and RFI Logs in CMiC.
• Assist in setting up PlanGrid for contract documents and organize project files.
• Attend BIM meetings and document minutes.
• Manage punchlist process with site leadership and closeout documentation.
