Job summary

Right Build International seeks a Construction Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, assisting in managing schedules, budgets, and technical documentation from pre-construction through project closeout.

The role requires reviewing plans for compliance, coordinating with contractors, tracking RFIs and submittals, performing quantity take-offs, site inspections, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or engineering (internships may count).
• Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or similar drafting/markup software is a plus.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• OSHA certification is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project execution.
• Review architectural and engineering plans for compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues.
• Track and document project progress, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and procurement of materials.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain project records, daily reports, and documentation logs.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers.
• Identify and mitigate delays or risks in project timelines.
• Participate in project meetings and prepare reports as needed.
