Job summary

Charles-Pankow-Builders is seeking a Construction Project Engineer / Project Engineer I to work under the direction of the project management team in a fast-paced environment. You will translate construction documents into buildable plans and support the Superintendent to implement the plans on site.

Responsibilities include coordinating documents, RFIs, submittals, and look-ahead scheduling, while ensuring safety and adherence to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Prior work experience or internship in related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate and coordinate project documents for field construction.
• Identify and resolve omissions and inconsistencies via RFIs.
• Develop 3-week look ahead schedule using Lean tools.
• Assist the Superintendent with equipment scheduling and material deliveries.
• Ensure work aligns with Pankow policies and PSQMP.
• Create and maintain jobsite records (diaries, RFIs, submittals, logs).
• Participate in project closeouts and punch list management.
