Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Project Engineer to drive technical and engineering aspects of a construction project. You will coordinate with clients, trade partners, engineers, and architects to ensure accuracy, resources, and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

You will support scheduling, submittals, and cost estimation while developing project plans and managing supplier deliveries. A proactive, team-oriented mindset is essential for success at Clark.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in engineer/project engineer role in construction.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Google Workspace.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers in purchasing activities including scoping and take-offs.
• Prepare and forward submittals and ensure they comply with plans/specs.
• Support development and updating of project schedules and subcontractor detail schedules.
• Lead the development of project plans and monitor material deliveries.
• Review change proposals and negotiate with trade partners.
• Draft change orders and perform scope take-off and cost estimates.
• Lead project close-out and prepare final payment documents for subcontractors.
