Job summary

Christman Mid-Atlantic Constructors, LLC invites undergraduate students to join its Summer Internship Program in the Washington, DC region as Assistant Project Engineer Interns. You will gain hands-on experience in building types and delivery methods while supporting the project team with RFI handling, document control, submittals, cost tracking, and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Active, full-time Sophomore–Senior level student pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Responsibilities

• Provides administrative and technical support to the project team.
• Assists with RFIs, document control, submittals, cost tracking, and schedule updates.
• Assists in summarizing discussions from project meetings.
• Identifies inspections and maintains inspection logs according to Christman standards.
• Updates contract drawings to reflect approved changes and tracks document updates.
• Supports daily reports, progress and quality photo management.
• Models safety awareness and participates in safety planning.
