Powers & Sons Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure safety, schedule adherence, budget compliance, and high-quality results.

Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, managing RFIs and submittals, tracking schedules and budgets, and assisting with closeout activities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Internship or co-op experience in construction, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.

Aufgaben

• Assist project teams with day-to-day project coordination and administration.
• Support management of RFIs, submittals, drawings, and project documentation.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and material deliveries.
• Attend project meetings and prepare notes and action items.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Assist with quality control and safety compliance efforts.
• Help maintain accurate project records and reporting.
• Support project closeout activities including punch lists and documentation.
• Learn and apply construction management best practices and company procedures.
