Job summary

Engage Contracting is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager in the completion of assigned projects. The role includes managing RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and change orders, ensuring logs are updated and information requests are followed up on.

The ideal candidate will oversee RFIs, submittals and change requests, provide cost forecasts for remaining work, and contribute to safe, compliant project execution with close collaboration to the scheduler and project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
• Commercial experience preferred
• Familiarity with rules, regulations and performance standards

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages RFIs, submittals, change requests and related processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Responsible for the job closeout process
• Provide accurate forecast on remaining cost requirements to complete the project
• Manage change order correspondence and tracking
• Understand assigned project plans and specifications
• Attend Project Status Report (PSR) meetings
• Establish and maintain safety standards and culture
• Work with the scheduler to update the project schedule as needed

Engage Contracting is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team!

The ideal candidate will be responsible to assist the Project Manager with overall management and the successful completion of assigned projects. The candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s RFIs, submittals, transmittals, and changer order processes; this includes maintaining logs and following up on requests for information.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages company RFIs, submittal, change requests, proposal requests, etc. and their processes to make sure they run efficiently, timely, and are accurate
• Responsible for the job closeout process
• Provide accurate forecast on remaining cost requirements to complete the project
• Manage change order correspondence and tracking
• Have a thorough understanding of assigned project plans and specifications
• Regularly attend Project Status Report (PSR) meeting
• Establish and maintain all safety standards and culture.
• Work with the company scheduler in updating project schedule as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent 2 years of experience
• Commercial experience preferred
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
