Oversee and track construction submittals throughout the review, approval, and distribution process.
Coordinate RFIs, drawings, specifications, and project-related documentation to ensure timely and accurate communication.
Collaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and design teams to support project execution.
Review construction plans and specifications to identify potential conflicts, discrepancies, and coordination issues.
Assist with procurement, project scheduling, material tracking, and project closeout activities.
Maintain comprehensive and organized project records, documentation, correspondence, and tracking logs.
Monitor project deadlines and deliverables while following up with team members and stakeholders to ensure timely completion of outstanding items.
Provide ongoing administrative and coordination support to the project team to facilitate efficient day-to-day project operations.
3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction submittals, RFIs, plans, specifications, and project documents.
Experience working with a commercial general contractor preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Good problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Ability to take ownership and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
