Job summary

Control Systems Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our Madison, AL team for a full-time, onsite role supporting commercial low-voltage construction projects such as fire alarm, security, access control, and life safety systems.

You will work with the Project Manager and operations team to plan, organize, and track multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring documentation and schedules are maintained and coordinated with accounting and purchasing teams.

Qualifications

• Administrative or coordination experience required.
• Experience in construction/low-voltage systems is a plus but not required.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to learn project management software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable with good attendance and time management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track commercial low-voltage installation projects.
• Assist with scheduling, task tracking, and documentation.
• Procure materials and coordinate equipment deliveries.
• Process RFIs, change orders, submittals, and punch lists.
• Maintain project documentation including drawings, specs, proposals.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Purchasing on material orders.
• Assist with permit coordination and compliance docs.
• Support field teams with staging materials and inventory.
• Communicate with customers for updates.
• Keep projects organized and on schedule.
