Job summary

CJD is seeking an experienced field project manager to oversee complex low-voltage systems from site coordination through installation, testing, and turnover. You will drive operational excellence and guide projects with a hands-on, collaborative team that promotes initiative and professional growth.

Responsibilities include directing field teams, managing budgets and schedules, coordinating with clients and contractors, and ensuring timely deliveries and quality outcomes across commercial sites.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience leading field operations for commercial low-voltage projects.
• Experience supervising structured cabling (copper/fiber), access control, security, and audiovisual systems.
• Ability to manage field crews, subcontractors, and material logistics on active sites.
• Strong budgeting for labor, site execution, and contractor communications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and interpretation of complex project plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations and installation teams across active commercial sites to ensure high-quality project execution.
• Manage project scope, scheduling, labor budgets, and logistics to keep phases on schedule and profitable.
• Coordinate field activities with clients, general contractors, and trade partners to align on design intent.
• Oversee material logistics, inventory tracking, and shipments to prevent delays.
• Resolve real-time field issues and scheduling conflicts before impacting timelines.
• Drive safety standards, QC inspections, and testing through turnover.
