Job summary

Haselden Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Bozeman, MT. You will coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field staff to keep projects on track and within budget.

You will generate RFIs, manage submittals and subcontracts, and mentor team members to ensure continuity. Procore, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam experience are required, with strong communication and scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Construction Management degree from college or university.
• Seven years of on-the-job construction project management experience.
• Procore, Revit, Navisworks and Bluebeam experience required.
• Experience with financial software systems is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with project architects, designers, owners, subs, and field team.
• Generate RFIs and submittals.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, budget and billings.
• Mentor team members to ensure continuity of work.
• Provide technical input to ensure compliance with codes, drawings, and specs.
• Prepare subcontracts and change orders; assist with owner changes.
• Update and communicate project schedule with Superintendents.
• Understand contractual responsibilities and documents.
• Support monthly project financial reviews.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage multiple tasks alongside billing.
• Support safety inspections and conduct site tours.
• Oversee Project Engineers on stormwater and safety standards.
• Coordinate Haselden Self Perform divisions where needed.
• Promote Haselden culture aligned with company values.
