Job summary

Haselden Montana Constructors in Bozeman, MT seeks a Project Engineer with 5+ years of commercial construction experience to drive RFIs, submittals, procurement, scheduling and QA/QC across projects. You will collaborate with owners, designers, and field teams to maintain schedule integrity and quality.

The role includes mentoring junior engineers, supporting change orders, and coordinating documentation from preconstruction through closeout using Procore and Bluebeam in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of commercial construction or project engineering experience required.
• Strong understanding of RFIs, submittals, procurement, document control, change management, scheduling, QA/QC, and closeout processes.

Responsibilities

• Independently manages project engineering functions including RFIs, submittals, procurement, document control, closeout, and project logs.
• Coordinates communication with owners, architects, design teams, subcontractors, field teams, and internal project members.
• Leads or supports project closeout, punch list tracking, warranties, and final turnover documentation.
• Supports QA/QC, field coordination, and alignment with drawings, specs, and project requirements.
