Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our Austin team. You will support the construction group by coordinating pre-construction and construction activities across assigned projects.

The role requires 1–3 years in project engineering/coordination within multifamily or commercial construction, plus a Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field. Competitive pay and full benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience.
• 1-3 years of project engineering, project coordination, or management in multifamily construction.

Responsibilities

• Support entire project team with daily project coordination.
• Take directions from the Project Manager and communicate expectations to subcontractors and employees.
• Procurement of construction materials, tools and equipment as required.
• Interact with Architects, Structural Engineers, Civil Engineers, Landscape, Utility Consultants, Soils Engineers, and others.
• Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules and requirements for completion.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure site and assets are secure and safe.
• Assist in project estimation and pre-construction activities.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Accounting for monthly draws.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying all payment applications monthly.
• Assist in all OAC meetings and maintain minutes.
• Maintain Procore site: Submittals, Transmittals, RFIs, Change Requests, etc.
• Provide drawing updates to affected teams for accuracy
