Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking an energetic Construction Assistant Project Manager to join our team in Phoenix. You will support the construction team by coordinating all pre-construction and construction activities for multiple projects, reporting to the Project Manager and interfacing with subcontractors and professionals.

You will assist in procurement, cost tracking, submittals, and maintaining Procore, drawings, and meeting minutes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 years of related experience.
• 1-3 years of project engineering, coordination, or management in multifamily construction.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with daily project coordination.
• Assist Project Manager with schedules, safety, quality control, and policy adherence.
• Coordinate procurement of construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate with architects, structural engineers, civil engineers, landscape, utility consultants, soils engineers, and other professionals.
• Review and update progress and cost reports, schedules, and requirements for completion on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with Project Manager to ensure project site and company assets are secure, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in project estimation and any pre-construction activities.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and Accounting for monthly draws.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying all payment applications on a monthly basis.
• Assist in all OAC meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
• Maintain Procore project site including Submittals, Transmittals, RFIs, Change Requests, and drawings.
