We're looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to support one of the Midwest's largest construction initiatives in West Lafayette, Indiana. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys collaborating with field and office teams, and is eager to grow their career in construction project management.

What You'll Do

  • Support Project Managers with daily project coordination and administrative activities.
  • Track project schedules, permits, purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and communication with local municipalities and inspectors.
  • Monitor weekly construction activities and assist with project reporting and budget tracking.
  • Maintain records in project management and safety platforms, including Procore and HammerTech (training provided).
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation scheduling, and workforce compliance documentation.
  • Support incident reporting, safety documentation and Permit-to-Work processes.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and construction-related documents.
  • Provide payroll and general office support to help keep projects running efficiently.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One (1) year or more of administrative, project coordination, construction support, or related experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of construction practices, OSHA principles, and blueprint interpretation.
  • Ability to work both in an office setting and outdoors on active construction sites.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, fire protection, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments.
  • Familiarity with Procore, HammerTech, or similar project management platforms.
  • Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, or office administration.
  • Knowledge of permitting processes and project documentation requirements.
  • Bilingual communication skills, particularly Korean, are a plus.
