Job summary

3i in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support commercial and public-sector construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will help with planning, documentation, procurement, scheduling, safety, and stakeholder communication.

Ideal candidates have 1–4 years of relevant experience, knowledge of construction documents, and proficiency with Procore and Office tools. This role emphasizes organized project controls, risk tracking, and client-focused problem

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
1–4 years of construction experience in Assistant PM, Project Engineer, or similar roles.
Familiarity with public-sector projects and CMAR/CSP delivery methods is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support the Project Manager in day-to-day coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams.
Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action items; track follow-ups and decisions.
Monitor progress against schedule; identify delays and coordination needs.
Assist with budget setup, cost tracking, and procurement documentation.
Maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change logs in Procore or similar software.
