Job summary

The Weitz Company is hiring a Project Coordinator for a data center project in San Marcos, Texas. The role covers document management, project accounting, and project administration, ensuring timely, accurate tasks and clear communication among the project team.

Ideal candidates are highly organized with interest in construction, ready to handle multiple tasks and support the project team through closeout, payments, and reporting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with basic accounting and/or invoicing required.
• Previous experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry is desirable.
• Familiarity with OCIP and CCIP management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the project team including data entry, filing, and proofreading.
• Verify subcontractor contracts, bonds, and insurance requirements are in place; monitor expiration dates and renew as needed.
• Manage and distribute contract status reports and other cost reports.
• Obtain, review, and process subcontractor and vendor payments.
• Facilitate OCIP and CCIP reporting and other required items.
• File and distribute construction drawings.
• Assist in owner pay applications and related documentation.
• Assist with pre-qualifications, contracts, invoices, change orders, and other documents.
• Organize closeout information with the project team.
