Job description

We are currently seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the on-site activities of facility construction and renovation projects within manufacturing operations. This role is crucial to ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards—while maintaining uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, field coordination experience, and a proactive approach to managing contractors, schedules, and quality control in an industrial/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities and field personnel to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  2. Coordinate daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards.
  3. Maintain close communication with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  4. Monitor construction progress, prepare daily reports, and resolve field issues in a timely manner.
  5. Manage scheduling of subcontractors, materials, and equipment deliveries.
  6. Oversee quality assurance and inspection processes to ensure project specifications are met.
  7. Conduct safety meetings and enforce jobsite safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite to support productivity and safety.

Qualifications:

  1. Associate degree, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  2. Minimum 7–10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction.
  3. Experience in construction projects within a manufacturing or industrial facility strongly preferred.
  4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and safety regulations.
  5. Proficiency with construction management software and MS Office Suite.
  6. OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
  7. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to work on active manufacturing campuses while coordinating with operations teams.
