Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a diligent Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on Commercial Construction projects from Richmond, VA.

The APM will ensure field supervision has materials, equipment and information to complete the work, acting as an extension of the SPM/PM while protecting ACI interests. Responsibilities include reviewing permits, proposals and submittals, managing procurement, maintaining project logs, coordinating with vendors and clients, and assisting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or 3 years of experience in commercial construction
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office products including Word, Project, Excel, Outlook and PDF Editing software (Bluebeam, Adobe)
• Ability to learn company-specific software such as Procore and Viewpoint
• Proven track record working with people, teams and projects
• Must be able to multi-task with minimal supervision, follow instructions, show attention to detail and problem-solving
• Must pass post-offer pre-employment drug screen and background checks as required
• Must adhere to company policy and schedules

Responsabilités

• Assists SPM/PM in filing permits, proposals, submittals, contracts and change orders
• Reviews specifications and drawings to prepare subcontractor scopes of work
• Identifies scope gaps in contract documents
• Prepares and distributes RFIs and Submittals and maintains logs
• Reviews submittals for conformance to contract and tracks process
• Manages project materials and equipment purchases (sourcing, vendor relations, ordering, receiving, invoicing)
• Assists PM with procurement and buyout
• Creates and maintains internal project schedules and tracking reports
• Expedites schedules, paperwork and materials to projects
• Supports PM in safety enforcement and client communications
• Attends meetings and documents minutes; compiles closeout packages
