Atlantic Constructors, Inc. in Richmond, VA seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on commercial projects, ensuring supervision has materials, equipment and information to complete the work.

You will report to the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager, aiming to protect company interests and meet customer goals while coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers. The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field (or equivalent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field or 3 years of experience in commercial construction.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office proficiency (Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, PDF editing).
• Ability to learn Procore and Viewpoint as needed.
• Proven track record working with teams and projects.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM in permits, proposals, submittals, contracts and change orders.
• Review specs and drawings for subcontractor scopes of work.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and Submittals with logs.
• Manage materials purchasing, sourcing, and vendor relations.
• Support procurement and buyout processes and create project schedules.
