Structure Tone, part of STO Building Group, seeks an Accounting Administrator to support project accounting lifecycle in New York. You will assist with job setup, billing, AP support, and closeout documentation while coordinating with project teams and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in construction accounting, strong Excel and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, with strong Excel proficiency.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project setup, including job information, billing requirements, contract values, and related accounting system updates.
• Assist with accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payment support, coding verification, and resolution of AP-related inquiries.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
• Prepare correspondence and respond to subcontractor inquiries related to lien waivers, contracts, and subcontractor compliance documentation to support accurate project administration.
• Support project closeout and organize required financial documentation.
