Job summary

Structure Tone, part of STO Building Group, is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support project accounting and administrative functions for its construction operations. The role covers the full project accounting lifecycle from setup to closeout.

The ideal candidate will have construction accounting experience, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or financial administration experience.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Office, with strong proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project setup, including job information, billing requirements, contract values, and related accounting system updates.
• Assist with accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payment support, coding verification, and resolution of AP inquiries.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
• Prepare correspondence and respond to subcontractor inquiries related to lien waivers, contracts, and compliance documentation.
• Support special projects and audits as required.
• Support project closeout and organize required financial documentation.
