Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Permanent Project Accountant to join our growing construction team in South Florida. You will manage financial aspects of our luxury home building projects from inception to completion, collaborating with project managers, finance teams, and senior management to ensure transparency and accuracy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project accounting experience, strong AP/AR, cost accounting, and financial analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of project accounting experience, preferably in construction.
• Strong proficiency in AP/AR, cost accounting, and financial analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting for projects.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
• Conducting regular financial analysis to identify overruns, inefficiencies, and improvements.
• Collaborating with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and forecast future expenses.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Preparing regular financial reports for senior management highlighting trends and risks.
• Working with the finance team to integrate project accounting with overall company finances.
