Job summary

JRM Construction Management seeks a Project Accountant to support Core & Shell and Interior projects, acting as the bridge between accounting and project teams to ensure accurate billing and reliable financial reporting.

The role involves reviewing subcontracts and pay applications, coordinating with owners and architects as needed, managing accounts receivable, and contributing to cash flow and project forecasts with the Finance Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 5 years of project accounting experience in construction.
• Understanding of cost coding, purchase orders, and contract types.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process project billings for Core & Shell and Interior projects.
• Coordinate subcontractor invoices and payments per contract terms.
• Review contracts, terms, and lien/wavier requirements to ensure compliance.
• Generate and review job costing reports for project teams.
• Assist with cash flow and project forecasting for the Finance Team.
• Respond to client and vendor billing inquiries and reconcile variances.
