Job summary

TCC Multi-Family Interiors is seeking an experienced Project Accountant to join a growing team dedicated to accurate project finance. You will ensure invoicing accuracy, manage A/R and AP workflows, and maintain rigorous document control across certificates, lien waivers, and related project financials.

The role reports to the Controller and collaborates with internal stakeholders to timely post invoices and applications, supporting project success and financial integrity on multiple

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 2–4 years of construction accounting experience in AR and AP.
• Knowledge of percent completion (POC) revenue recognition method and job costing.
• Experience with AIA documents, Dynamics 365 – Business Central, and a fully integrated ERP system.
• Previous experience with GCPay, Procore, and Textura platform.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper document control for certificates of insurance, lien waivers, close-outs, and other required documents.
• Manage contract change order process and update the billing system accordingly.
• Monitor and follow up on A/R collections and report delinquent accounts.
• Meet due dates for billings and collections and maintain the A/R aging report.
• Manage the subcontractor portal and ensure access to project information.
• Add or remove subcontractors from projects and update the accounting system.
• Process job-related vendor invoices and match them with POs and receipts.
• Review documents to compute fees or charges due to be paid.
• Review billings for accuracy before submission to the controller for approval.
• Create the billing schedule of values and obtain customer approval.
