Job summary

Builtech Services, LLC is seeking an Associate Project Accountant to join our fast-paced, team‑oriented environment. You will prepare monthly billing, review subcontractor pay apps, and maintain project files, ensuring accurate financial records for multiple projects.

Responsibilities include tracking deadlines, coordinating with project teams, and providing backup support for accounts payable. This role requires attention to detail and a solid understanding of Sage 300 and Procore.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting, construction administration, or project coordination experience preferred.
• Strong organization, communication, follow‑up, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office; Sage 300 and Procore experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Project Accounting background with Associates/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 1 - 5 years of experience in Project Accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly billing packages for assigned projects.
• Review subcontractor pay applications, lien waivers, and supporting documentation.
• Track billing deadlines, missing items, approvals, waivers, and exceptions.
• Maintain project contracts, change orders, billing records, and project files.
• Serve as the accounting contact for assigned projects and coordinate with project teams.
• Create, distribute, and track Job Specific Agreements (JSAs).
• Maintain project information in Sage 300, Procore, and company systems.
• Prepare reports, roll over files, and support ad hoc accounting initiatives.
• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and Accounting Clerk responsibilities as needed.
