Job summary

All-American Shutters & Glass in Riviera Beach, FL is seeking a Staff Accountant to ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting, support operational decisions, and manage project accounting, AIA billing, and month-end close.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in construction, glazing, or hurricane protection, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems such as Sage, Foundation, Viewpoint, or NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in construction, glazing, or related contracting.
• Hands-on with AIA pay applications and project-based accounting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes.
• Proficient with Excel, including pivots and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare AIA payment applications, continuation sheets, SVs, lien waivers, and retainage documentation.
• Process and reconcile subcontractor invoices and ensure timely payment.
• Assist month-end/year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Maintain General Ledger accuracy and perform account reconciliations.
• Support audits with schedules and documentation; analyze cash flow and workload.
