Job summary

Hoffman Construction seeks a Purchasing Agent to support project teams in Seattle by buying out work, issuing and managing RFPs, negotiating scopes, and drafting contracts for successful bidders.

The role is office-based at the Seattle Main Office with a salary range of $80,000–$90,000 annually. Candidates should have a construction or business background and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction related profession, business administration, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience required.
• At least two (2) years of purchasing experience preferred, including an understanding of Washington GC/CM bidding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and issue request for proposal packages for construction project procurement.
• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings.
• Manage the bid package process, including advertise, issue addenda, and manage the bid package processes.
