Job summary

SLB is seeking a Procurement Specialist to execute and manage U.S. construction project purchases. You will coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and site teams to ensure on-time material delivery and full contractual compliance.

This role requires attention to detail, responsiveness, and the ability to handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment, with relocation support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Proven procurement experience in a project environment.
• Strong vendor and supplier communications.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase order placement and administration per procedures.
• Ensure supplier compliance with terms, specs, and docs.
• Coordinate with logistics for on-time delivery of materials.
• Maintain procurement records for traceability.
• Support issue resolution between suppliers, engineering, and site teams.
• Prepare and track purchase orders for materials, equipment, or services.
• Review supplier confirmations and documentation for accuracy.
• Obtain progress updates, shipping docs, and inspection reports.
• Maintain procurement trackers; highlight critical orders and risks.
• Support expediting and logistics with delivery coordination and receipts.
• Review invoices against orders and delivery docs.
• Assist in procurement reports, dashboards, and summaries.
