Job summary

Kiewit Supply Network is seeking an entry-level procurement professional to negotiate and administer supplier contracts and purchase high-quality materials at favorable costs. Responsibilities include maintaining records, evaluating suppliers, and preparing purchase orders while ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

The role requires willingness to travel/relocate, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.
0-3 years’ experience in an engineering or construction related role preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel).
General knowledge of database utilization.
SAP Experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specifications and drawings.
Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance and inventories.
Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and the supplier’s history.
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and determine needs for changes.
Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services.
