Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry-Level procurement professional to support the Supply Network. This role involves negotiating, renegotiating, and administering contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives while ensuring materials meet drawings and specifications.

Based in a U.S. office or project site, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage records, evaluate suppliers, prepare purchase orders, and monitor contract performance to deliver value, with relocation across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 0-3 years’ experience in engineering/construction related role preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel).
• General knowledge of database utilization.
• SAP Experience a plus.
• Basic knowledge of all areas of procurement, including procurement execution, estimating, expediting, offsite supplier quality and site purchasing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, renegotiate, and administer contracts with suppliers, vendors and other representatives.
• Purchase the highest quality materials at the lowest possible cost in correct amounts per specifications and drawings.
• Maintain and review records of items purchased, costs, deliveries, product performance and inventories.
• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service and reliability.
• Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and determine needs for changes.
• Prepare purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
