SERVPRO Industries, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a broad range of construction projects, ensuring high quality service for customers, clients, subcontractors and resource providers involved in construction services.

The role includes managing the customer experience, evaluating estimates, negotiating scope and terms, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, creating schedules, and ensuring safety and quality standards across active projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Previous construction management experience.
• Superb customer service track record.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
• Experience in restoration and/or construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer experience, education of process and overall customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate and review estimates.
• Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope, estimate and terms.
• Collect deposits and draws.
• Identify, qualify and schedule subcontractors, engineers, architects and vendors to provide service on active projects.
• Create project schedule and timeline.
• Coordinate and oversee the execution of services.
• Conduct quality assurance activities and resolve issues.
• Document and/or review job file to support the services provided.
• Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all work performed complies with the plans, safety policy, specifications, local codes and permits, and requirements of the scope of work.
• Compile and resolve punch list items.
• Perform final walk-through with customer.
• Secure a signed Certificate of Completion and Certificate of Satisfaction.
• Review budgets.
• Manage expenses and assist in collecting final payment.
• Manage all warranty activities.
• Manage any equipment, tools, and materials (assets).
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
