Job summary

CAA ICON's Salt Lake City internship offers hands-on exposure to owners' representation and construction management within a premier sports/entertainment facilities team.

You will work with experienced professionals, gain practical experience, attend meetings, assist with drawings, budgets, RFIs, and site tours, and receive a housing stipend and laptop. Open to juniors/seniors or grads; in-person, paid internship from May 17, 2027 to Aug 6, 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related degree with expected graduation in 2027/2028.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Strong technical skills; proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project preferred; strong verbal and written communication.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, planning, and time management abilities.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily project needs including deliveries, scanning, document development, and tracking logs.
• Coordinate and maintain a master project calendar; manage meetings and invites.
• Assist with file maintenance and meeting minutes.
• Support event planning and project data collection for schedules.
• Monitor budgets, contracting costs, and actual expenditures.
• Assist with contract administration, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and staff; review drawings.
• Participate in site tours and capture project photos.
