Job summary

Marand Builders, Inc. seeks a seasoned General Contractor Project Manager to drive financial and light industrial construction from inception to completion across diverse clients.

The ideal candidate will lead multi-project programs, supervise teams and subcontractors, and ensure quality, safety, and schedule discipline. Requirements include a 4- to 5-year track record in commercial construction, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, strong leadership, and travel Flex.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction management or engineering.
• 5+ years in commercial construction, overseeing ground-up projects.
• Ability to manage 2+ projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, blueprint reading, and reporting software.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Valid driver's license with up to 30% travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budget, write contracts, approve invoices, and update schedules.
• Coordinate subs, resolve issues, and distribute project documents.
• Create and maintain the project schedule and short interval plans.
• Expedite deliveries to meet schedule and maintain cost controls.
• Prepare cost reports and maintain client/vendor relationships.
• Oversee LEED implementation and document control for submittals.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for contract compliance.
• Attend meetings, record minutes, and circulate action items.
• Lead close-out procedures and ensure safety compliance on site.
