Job summary

Construction Material Testing seeks a Business Development Manager in Montana to own the market for testing and inspection services, managing the pipeline and closing deals with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will collaborate with a seller-doer engineer pricing and sealing the technical side.

Your responsibilities include building a target list, owning relationships, tracking permits and bids, pursuing opportunities, and driving the CRM pipeline through proposal

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the posting market.
• Disciplined pipeline habits: forecastable and honest.
• Comfortable discussing specifications and schedules with superintendents and owners.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms.
• Own relationships end to end and track permits, bid boards, and project announcements.
• Run the pursuit pipeline in the CRM from initial contact through proposal and signed agreement.
• Coordinate proposals with engineering: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry events and report pipeline monthly.
