Construction Material Testing is seeking a Business Development Manager to own market relationships with general contractors, owners, developers, and design firms. You will manage the pipeline, coordinate proposals with the engineering team, and close deals for testing and inspection services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years selling professional or technical services to the construction industry.
• Existing network of contractors, owners, or design firms in the posting market.
• Disciplined pipeline habits: forecastable and honest.
• Comfort talking specifications and terms with superintendents and owners.

Responsibilities

• Build a target list of contractors, owners, developers, and design firms and own relationships end-to-end.
• Track permits, bid boards, and project announcements to pursue work before it is awarded.
• Coordinate proposals with the engineering team: scope, pricing, qualifications, and follow-up.
• Represent the company at industry associations, pre-bid meetings, and client events; report pipeline monthly.
• Run the pursuit pipeline in the CRM from first contact through proposal, negotiation, and signed agreement.
