Job summary

Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is seeking a part-time Payroll Specialist to manage complex payroll across construction, electrical service, and roadway operations.

The role requires attention to detail, strong timekeeping, and proficiency with ComputerEase/Deltek and prevailing-wage reporting systems. You will handle payroll processing, project costing, and certified payroll submissions while ensuring compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll administration experience, preferably construction/industrial.
• Experience with ComputerEase/Deltek payroll setup and job costing.
• Knowledge of certified payroll and prevailing-wage reporting.
• Strong Excel and reporting skills with confidentiality and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll for hourly and salaried staff across locations and jurisdictions.
• Set up and maintain construction jobs, job numbers, and cost codes in ComputerEase; review time allocations.
• Prepare certified payroll reports and prevailing-wage submissions; use LCPtracker as needed.
• Audit payroll files, reconciliations, and tax settings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
