Qualifications
Five or more years of experience overseeing payroll operations, preferably within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of payroll compliance, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
Hands-on experience with prevailing wage and OCIP reporting standards.
Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process for all employees.
Oversee the accuracy and upkeep of employee payroll records.
Monitor and comply with all federal, state, and local payroll tax obligations.
Compile and maintain prevailing wage documentation and OCIP reports.
Work cross-functionally with Human Resources and Accounting.
Provide professional support to field and office staff regarding payroll inquiries.
Research and correct payroll variances promptly.
Participate in audits and year-end close activities.
Evaluate payroll workflows and recommend enhancements.
