Job summary

TRP Infrastructures is seeking a Certified Payroll Coordinator to support prevailing-wage and public-works payroll requirements and ensure compliance deadlines are met. This role involves maintaining audit-ready documentation and collaborating with payroll, operations, and HR to resolve issues.

You will prepare and submit certified payroll reports, validate wage rates and classifications, and track deadlines across jurisdictions for multiple projects. A strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience with direct certified payroll/prevailing-wage responsibility preferred.
• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon, state/local prevailing-wage concepts, and certified payroll reporting strongly preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and deadline management.
• Experience with construction/infrastructure payroll and project coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit certified payroll reports for assigned projects and jurisdictions.
• Validate employee classifications, wage rates, fringe requirements, hours, and project coding against applicable requirements.
• Maintain prevailing-wage documentation, payroll records, and project-specific compliance files.
• Research discrepancies and coordinate corrections with payroll, operations, project teams, and HR.
• Track project requirements, submission calendars, missing information, and compliance deadlines.
• Support audits, contractor/subcontractor documentation, and agency information requests.
