Job summary

TPC Packaging Solutions seeks a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth in the Building & Construction market. You will identify, develop, and close opportunities for packaging, tape, and protective materials used by manufacturers and construction-related businesses.

The ideal candidate is a hunter with experience selling industrial products and construction-related materials, with a track record of building a pipeline and closing deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of business development or outside sales experience.
• Proven success selling packaging, industrial products, tape, adhesives, building products, or related solutions.
• Experience prospecting and developing new business opportunities from the ground up.
• Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan focused on the Building & Construction sector.
• Identify and secure new customers through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, industry associations, and trade events.
• Generate and maintain a healthy sales pipeline within CRM.
• Present value-based solutions focused on reducing total packaging costs, improving productivity, and enhancing product protection.
• Serve as the liaison between customers and internal stakeholders including Procurement, Operations, and Quality
• Develop relationships with purchasing managers, operations leaders, supply chain professionals, and business owners
• Stay current on industry trends, construction market conditions, and competitive offerings.
