About the Role

Total Tennis, Inc. is looking for an experienced Salesperson to drive growth in the tennis and pickleball court building and surfacing industry. This role involves lead generation, client relationship management, and closing deals with residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients. You'll be expected to navigate longer sales cycles, work with complex bid documents, and collaborate with project teams across multiple trades. Key Responsibilities

  • Generate Leads & Build Relationships - Proactively seek new business through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Sales & Negotiation - Conduct discovery calls, develop tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Customer Engagement- Educate potential clients on our products and services, ensuring they understand how we can meet their needs.
  • Technical Expertise- Master our construction and surfacing services to confidently present solutions to customers.
  • CRM & Sales Process Management- Maintain accurate records in our CRM system to track leads, proposals, and follow-ups.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling- Identify additional services that may benefit customers, such as court equipment, lighting, or maintenance plans.
  • Collaboration with Operations - Work closely with our construction teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
  • Sales success in construction & construction estimating with direct client-facing experience.
  • Team collaboration on complex jobs involving multiple trades.
  • Experience selling to diverse customer types, primarily B2B and B2G, with some exposure to B2C sales.
  • Ability to read and interpret bid documents and plans to develop accurate proposals.
  • Familiarity with longer-term sales cycles, ensuring follow-through from lead generation to project completion.
  • Proven track record of referrals, demonstrating strong client relationships and repeat business.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, capable of managing time effectively and working independently.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, able to present solutions, handle objections, and close deals.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple deals, bids, and follow-ups with precision.
  • Tech-savvy, proficient in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and sales automation platforms.
