Job summary

Colonial Group in Lisle, IL seeks an Operations Manager to oversee regional projects, supervising Senior Project Managers, Project Managers and field staff to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence. The role includes staffing decisions, performance reviews and salary guidance to Regional leadership.

You will develop annual plans, forecast project needs, and drive execution while maintaining safety, quality, and client satisfaction across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• 5+ years in commercial construction management with leadership experience.
• Ability to mentor and coach subordinates.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee senior project managers, project managers, purchasing agents and superintendents to ensure project delivery.
• Develop and approve project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Assign engineering, purchasing and PM responsibilities based on workload.
• Review change orders, subcontracts and purchase orders to manage risk and cost.
• Maintain safety and quality standards across projects and regions.
