Job summary

Staffmark seeks a seasoned leader to direct day-to-day operations for an industrial field services and construction department. You will guide Project Managers, service reps, foremen and field crews while overseeing multiple projects and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities include developing bids, monitoring costs, and driving safety, quality and profitability. Collaboration with Operations, Sales, Finance, and HR is essential to achieve departmental goals and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial construction, field service, or project/operations leadership.
• Supervising field personnel and leading teams.
• Strong background in mechanical and/or electrical industrial construction.
• Experience managing multiple projects, crews, schedules, customers and priorities.
• Knowledge of estimating, bidding, project costing, and profitability.
• Understanding project scope, risk, labor requirements and cost performance.
• Solid safety and jobsite standards understanding.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations for an industrial field services/construction department.
• Provide leadership to Project Managers, Service Representatives, Foremen and field crews.
• Oversee multiple industrial construction and field-service projects concurrently.
• Develop and review moderate-to-large project estimates and bids.
• Monitor weekly project costs and identify potential overruns early.
• Drive performance across safety, quality, productivity, utilization, cost and profitability.
• Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and site visits.
• Support revenue growth by identifying customer needs and maintaining bid/sales volume.
• Ensure field teams comply with safety, quality, housekeeping and jobsite standards.
• Develop employees through training, coaching and apprenticeship programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, HR and Engineering.
• Conduct jobsite audits to ensure quality, safety, schedule and execution.
