Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a location manager to oversee all facets of a regional site, including sales, operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control. You will lead day-to-day activities, reporting through the online system and ensuring efficiency across departments.

The role emphasizes staffing, wage management, and implementing inventory programs to meet demand. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and several years of related managerial experience in the building

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Four years of related managerial experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have prior experience in building materials industry.

Responsibilities

Oversees overall sales (professional and retail), operations, production, delivery, purchasing, and inventory control of the location.
Manages daily operations and reports via the Online system.
Develops and implements inventory control programs to meet location inventory levels and turns.
Participates in recruiting, hiring, and training; creates staffing measures to reduce turnover.
Motivates employees, sets objectives, and approves wage/salary adjustments.
Recommends capital improvements and maintains cost-effective equipment maintenance.
