Job summary

Colonial Group seeks a Project Manager to direct multiple projects, establish objectives, and liaise with prime client contracts, while overseeing on-site construction activities through the on-site manager. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, controlling costs, and coordinating with Purchasing, Installation, and Logistics to meet schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 0–4 years of project management experience.
• Exempt status indicates a professional role.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule requirements, and prioritize with Purchasing and Installation.
• Coordinate with Vendors; pursue contracts, bonds, and insurance certificates.
• Review shop drawings for quality control and timely submittals.
• Manage project costs: monitor job cost, overruns, and billings.
• Release materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Prepare and track billings until payment is received.
• Update project control and document systems; coordinate with Logistics.
• Set up cost projections and cost-to-complete on a weekly basis.
• Develop relationships with suppliers, contractors, owners and architects.
