Infra Tech Engineering, LLC is seeking an organized Office Engineer to support NYSDOT construction administration and project documentation for the D042139 / D265672 assignment at 222-34 96th Ave, Queens Village, NY 11429.

The role requires strong attention to detail, experience with highway construction documentation, quantity tracking, and NYSDOT reporting. You will coordinate with the Engineer-In-Charge and field staff to ensure timely, accurate records and successful project closeout.

Formación

• Experience with highway construction documentation and NYSDOT projects.
• Ability to read plans, specs, pay items, and payment provisions.
• Strong Excel and written communication skills.
• Experience with NYSDOT reporting and payment systems preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain project correspondence, inspection reports, meeting minutes, submittal logs, requests for information, and other construction records.
• Review inspectors' daily reports for completeness, consistency, quantities, and supporting documentation.
• Compile and reconcile installed quantities, delivery tickets, field measurements, and payment records.
• Prepare supporting documentation for progress payments, change orders, extra work, and force-account work for NYSDOT review.
• Track material approvals, certifications, test reports, and outstanding documentation.
• Maintain organized electronic project files and use NYSDOT-designated construction-management systems.
• Assist with progress reporting, outstanding-item tracking, record drawings, final quantities, and project closeout.
• Identify missing records or conflicting information and promptly elevate unresolved items to the Engineer-In-Charge.
