Job summary

Tucker Paving, Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator to manage the receiving, issuing, and tracking of materials used across our heavy civil construction operations.

The role requires being highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work in a yard/warehouse environment, with occasional travel to vendor sites. You will collaborate with the Purchasing Manager to ensure material availability aligns with project deadlines.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of inventory control experience.
• Proficient with inventory management software and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of construction materials, especially underground utilities, sitework, and earthwork.
• Familiarity with inventory software systems.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials.
• Safely transport materials using forklift or equipment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and address variances.
• Ensure proper storage and handling to prevent damage.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder points.
• Analyze data to forecast needs and prevent stockouts.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Manager to support procurement.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
