Job summary

Quikrete Outside Sales Representative in the Salt Lake City, UT market will drive revenue from lead generation through to collection, maintaining current customer relationships and promoting a culture of safety on all sites.

The role requires building a strategic plan for accounts, presenting proposals, managing contracts, and tracking market data to improve EBITDA, volume, and share in the region. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability, vacation, and 401K.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field (construction materials, business, etc.) preferred.
• Sales experience in construction with exposure to project management, sales and estimating.
• Technical knowledge and certifications: MS Office.
• Construction Sales Experience.

Responsibilities

• Health and Safety: commitment to safety policies on sites and in operations.
• Sales Area focus: identify targets, follow up leads, prepare proposals and contracts, maintain client relationships.
• Sales & Marketing: track market data, price projects, report on wins/losses and market share.
• Strategy: develop business plans for key accounts and communicate opportunities to staff.
• Value Added Products: promote VASPs and strengthen customer relations through value-added marketing.
• Customer Orientation: resolve issues to satisfy customers and coordinate with support staff.
• Communication: assist credit department and coordinate deliveries.
• Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting: provide forecasts and status reports.
