Cherokee Federal is seeking a Site Material Coordinator to oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of construction materials at the job site's temporary warehouse.

The role reports to the Project Manager and involves coordinating deliveries from suppliers, managing subcontractor pickups, and maintaining accurate inventory using material management software. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in material coordination, warehouse management, or logistics, preferably in construction.
• Proficiency in material management software.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with suppliers and site staff.

Responsibilities

• Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA and site safety standards for material handling and warehouse operations.
• Material Receipt and Inspection: Receive, inspect, and document deliveries against purchase orders.
• Supplier Coordination: Schedule deliveries and resolve issues related to timing or materials.
• Subcontractor Interaction: Schedule material pickups and ensure accurate handoff and documentation.
• Inventory Management: Track stock levels using material management software and report shortages.
• Warehouse Operations: Use forklifts and equipment to store materials safely.
• Documentation: Maintain delivery receipts, logs, and inventory reports.
• Collaboration: Work with Project Manager and site team to align material availability with schedules.
• Administrative support as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
